"For, lo, the winter is over and past,
the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land..."
The Song of Solomon, 2: 11-12

Spring is weeks away yet, of course. It is still cold, with nearly a month of Ontario winter ahead of us. But the snow has melted and revealed the bare garden, bleak but promising, with a garden sprite peeping out from between the flower pots.

  2. I have never heard the voice of the turtle, but perhaps when Every one is now a fairy, one will be so kind as to sing for me.
