'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime

"Twas in the moon of wintertime
when all the birds had fled,
That Mighty Gitchi Manitou
sent angel choirs instead:
Before their light the stars grew dim
And wond'ring hunters heard the hymn:
Jesus your King is born,
Jesus is born,
In Excelsis gloria!"

Wishing you all a merry and blessed Christmas.

  1. Absolutely stunning work Frances. I love the warmth of the central image contrasted with the starry border. So many details to pick out, the star signs, so very clever. I love it!

Have a star filled Christmas x

  3. How beautiful!!! Your artwork is stunning. I love the Capricorn goat at the top of the page. Was this one of the artworks at Ste. Marie? We couldn't go because Barry was so sick. The expressions on the faces of the First Peoples (Hurons) pulls me right in. Well done! The girls and I are fine. Lindsay is also doing well. Hope you and your family are enjoying a magical holiday. Keep well.
    Love, Linda xoxo
